BitShares is a decentralised cryptocurrency exchange that allows users to trade cryptos as well as traditional instruments simply by converting them to BitAssets. It is a component of the Microsoft Azure blockchain, which was launched in July 2014. BitShares is at the vanguard of the cryptocurrency regulation struggle.
