Asus has presented its new range of products, on the occasion of the launch of the new range of Intel Core processors.

These Intel processors come with a new architecture, which requires a new chipset, the Z690. The good thing about having to change is that we can be among the first to adopt new technologies, such as the new DDR5 memory that some manufacturers already offer.

Asus has been among the first to offer Z690 motherboards , both in its normal range and in its ROG range for enthusiasts; the latter have a dedicated memory circuit, which unlocks the voltage to take full advantage of DDR5 memory.

They also feature PCIe 5.0 to support future graphics cards, and are compatible with all new Intel processors. Depending on the model, we also have the latest WiFi 6E standard, built-in overclocking features, and even built-in liquid cooling, so we just have to connect the tubes of our system.

Along with these motherboards, Asus has also presented a series of accessories and components that can come in handy if we want to make a complete renovation of the computer. These include the new power supply ROG Thor Titanium nothing less than 1.600 W .

The new Intel processors can consume up to 241 W, which together with the greater power needed by the graphics cards can make our power supply short; For this reason, in addition to the Titanium Asus has presented the ROG Thor Platinum II of 850, 1,000 and 1,200 W.

Two new ROG Strix monitors will make sure to offer us the highest speed and refresh rate to enjoy this power. The XG309CM is 29.5 inches, with 2560 x 1080 resolution, 200 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, with USB-C connection. The XG276Q for its part is 27 inches and 1080p resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time and DisplayHDR 400 certified.

Finally, the most striking device of those announced by Asus, at least aesthetically, is the ROG Delta S Animate . We are in front of some ‘helmets’ to enjoy the best sound of our games, the original thing is that they have a Mini-LED dot matrix that we can configure to our liking, showing icons, lighting effects, animations and much more. We can even make these lights synchronize with the sound we are hearing. It is something very original and that will stand out from the rest.

Technically, it is striking that it does not use the classic 3.5 audio connection, but is completely digital, with a USB-C connection compatible with computers, Mac, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. That is why it has an integrated DAC, compatible with MQA technology for high quality audio and noise cancellation on the microphone using Artificial Intelligence.
