The job blends the duties of a professional driver with those of a Public Relations Officer. The Chauffeur is responsible for driving official Embassy cars to ensure the safe transportation of officials and guests throughout Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
As a PRO, the successful applicant will serve as the Embassy's representative with various UAE government ministries, handling official documentation related to visas, licenses, and permits.
To be considered for the job, applicants should have at least five years of professional driving experience, ideally at a diplomatic mission, government agency, or multinational corporation. A current UAE driving license is also a required document.
The applicant should have a basic knowledge of English, though fluency in Arabic is desirable. The upper age limit for interested candidates is 35 years as of the application submission deadline.
Moreover, applicants must be legally eligible to live and work in the UAE, have a clean police record, and be medically fit, as evidenced by a valid medical fitness certificate. The Embassy stated that the remuneration is competitive, with a monthly gross salary of AED 6,805, and it also offers medical insurance benefits under Abu Dhabi laws.
